5 Quick Tips To Improve your Website

Make your written content more web friendly

Look at re-writing your content so that the online user can easily scan your webpage and scan your information to get out the important details that you want. Use white space to make it easier on the eye to read. Use keywords. Hyperlink a few words to relevant pages so visitors can find information quickly.

Monitor your website traffic
Tools like Google Analytics make it easy for you to see what pages people are looking at, where your traffic if coming from, and what keywords they used to find your site.

Take advantage of Search Engines by using simple SEO tactics
Simple things like having unique title tags, using Alt tags on photos and graphics, incorporating keywords into your page content, and using header tags with CSS can make a big difference on where you show up on a search result page.

Promote your website
Ask others to link to your website, and put links back to them on your website. When adding links include a description and not just a url. Use social media feeds to drive traffic to your website.

Update and change your content regularly

Updated content reassures the visitor that your operation is still open. If you close for the winter, be sure and leave a message to that effect on your home page, with winter contact information. AND when you expect to reopen!

The search engine's are always looking for the most current content - make sure that you have it!  By changing your content regularly, this will encourage the search engine to visit your site more often.
